For nearly 20 years, CDP has driven environmental disclosure on climate change, water security, and deforestation. Our framework and database provide high-quality, consistent data to capital markets, supporting informed financial decisions for a sustainable future.

We offer a unique opportunity to learn about environmental reporting and CDP’s engagement with corporate and public sector stakeholders. CDP Europe is looking for motivated working students (Werkstudenten) to support the Capital Markets team for approximately 12 months, ideally starting now.

The role includes
  • Supporting the Capital Markets account managers in the maintenance of existing signatories and clients;
  • Participating in client meetings, explaining how to navigate different CDP datasets;
  • Regularly updating our signatory records with new contacts, initiatives signed, asset figures etc;
  • Helping with planning and performing targeted mailouts through D365;
  • Helping on client requests for information and data analysis based on CDP data in excel;
  • Assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required.
The successful candidate should have
  • Be an enrolled student in a BA/BSc programme;
  • Keen interest in sustainability themes related to corporates or financial institutions; 
  • Good communication skills, ability to interact convincingly both internally and externally;
  • Strong organisational and planning skills at operational level;
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel; basic programming skills would be a plus;
  • Excellent (verbal and written) English; other European languages would be a plus;

Further information
The successful candidate can work flexible hours per week taking into consideration the examination schedule. Possibility to work full-time during summer break. This working student role is based at our office in Berlin, Germany.
